IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT SANCTIONED WRESTLING EVENTS
As we emerge from COVID-19 restrictions, OAWA would like to remind its members:
- OAWA Insurance is provided ONLY for participation in OAWA Sanctioned Events.
- OAWA Sanctioned events will be listed in the Competitions section of the OAWA web site.
- Convenors hosting events not sanctioned by the OAWA do so at their own risk.
The Government of Ontario strictly regulates Combative Sports. Under the law, participation in non-sanctioned contests could result in legal action. For more information on Combative Sports and the regulations affecting them, we suggest the following Government of Ontario website:

Lastly, members are reminded that as part of their membership application to OAWA, members agree that they will not participate in any unsanctioned events, and may be subject to disciplinary action if they do.
